Hopefully this post will help you determine how to effectively get your post across without offending or confusing anyone, lol. Just a list of things you may want to read through and remember before posting here:

1. If you're new here, it would be nice if you introduced yourself. It's not necessary and you won't be "flamed" for not doing it if you choose not to. But we try to make the atmosphere here open and hospitable and knowing a bit about each other helps with that.

2. Posts that aren't about fishing are welcome here. But we ask if you are posting something that isn't fishing related, simply write (NF) for non-fishing in your subject title. (OFN'ers know about this rule already).

3. Likewise, if your post contains mature content please mark it with a (Mature) in the subject title. Posting of pornographic images or videos will not be tolerated however.

4. Posting pictures! It's easy to do when you get the hang of it. First off, you need to upload your pictures to a remote hosting site, like http://www.myfishingpictures.com or http://www.yafro.com Then, get the URL for the image (right click the image and hit properties to get the URL or on myfishingpics they give it to you). Now in your post, use "IMG tags" to post the images. It would look like this:

[img ]http://www.fakeURL.com/thisimagedoesntexist.jpg[/ img]

With no spaces. Seems confusing, but you get the hang of it fast!

5. "Flaming" (insulting) of other members will not be tolerated. If you have a problem with someone personally, take it to PM, or e-mail. Don't try to settle things openly on the public forum to get a crowd behind you or whatever. We dont want to see it!

Okay so those are some simple guidelines. If you can think of more, PM them to me and I'll add them to the list as time goes on.
