It is is a non-profit organization designed to improve and expand community service in metropolitan Detroit.

Tue to Fri 9:00 AM to 2:00 pm (in 2008: June 17 to August 15) students can meet at different places (like Groves, Andover...) to drive then by bus towards Detroit downtown.

Projects include demolition, construction, painting, planting, working with elementary school students and assisting the elderly.

There is no registration necessary Razz , just show up (they might ask for an optional donation of $20), students get usually a t-shirt and a bottle for juice.
