Hi SD,

And sorry for such late replies on the blog and here - these last few days (weeks!) have been so hectic for me at work, and my computer at home decided to die. Well, actually the monitor did!!! I now have a back-up system so that I will not need to be out of action for long periods!

Great to hear about the asylum, but it's a shame that nothing happened! Oh well, after the dodgy allegations against that team due to the fake spirit medium and his accomplace, Sam, I'm not sure I'd trust any of it at all.

And thanks for the comments about this blog, it being traditional and all. At the end of the day, the new-agey stuff serves some purpose, I suppose, but it is not directly informed but someone as enlightened as Buddha!

On that note, this blog seems to be slowly expanding into the supernatural realm, too; do you think it is in danger of becoming too broad (thinking more specifically here about my post on the Loch Ness monster)?

Would you believe Dodgy Derek the Made-up Medium is still going strong? He got booted from Most Haunted long ago after he got stitched up with the planted fake names*, but he still pops up in magazines and does tours etc. *sigh*

I don't see any reason for you to limit yourself to purely religious / buddhism-specific posts. It's the perspective that's important, and I'm sure pretty much any topic can be viewed through the lens of budddhism. I may not always agree with what you say though (also thinking of the loch ness monster!).

* Did you figure them out? Kreed Kafer = Derek Faker, Rik Eedles = Derek Lies.

Unbelievable about Kreed Kafer... sigh indeed. Unfortunately, people like him tarnish the reputations of the sincere (Mrs. SD, for example!).

And I'm interested to hear your views on the scope of my blog. I guess we need to write about things that sincerely interest us, otherwise there is the danger of being just another Rik Eedles
