Hey! Newbie here from the Charleston, WV Area. Main grocery stores around me are Kroger's, Wal-Mart, FasCheck... There's a few others also.
I'm male, 43, take care of my 82 year old father and took of both parents until my mother's death in November 2006. With the recent downturn of the economy I've taken to clipping coupons, mostly from our local Sunday paper.
I love to cook, and do so, mostly from scratch. To many preservatives, additives, and processed sugars, etc. in pre-packaged foods. My best result from coupon clipping so far has been that I've saved about $60 from coupon use at Kroger's (the local Kroger doubles up to $1). Brought the usual $110 grocery bill down to $50. With that result, it had me hooked. |
