He was an actor, but he was a creative force. Someone should create a website dedicated to just jimmy's creativity. For example sculpture, photos he took, poems etc.
Right now I am interested in seeing photos that jimmy took. Any ideas where I might find them?
Keep your own creative spark alive and you'll keep a bit of James alive.
Love pete

I think that's a superb idea. I really like it. It was his creativity that I think was such an integral part of who he was.

i love the idea, it's just getting hold of the material. I have seen a painting he did of a matadore and also a drawing of a frog (with blood). If anyone has any photos of any of his creations please let us know.

I love to see the creativity of James Dean in any form and have certainly felt inspired by him. This is a sculpture he made, which represents himself:

At the museum in Fairmount they have like three glass cases, just of paintings, drawings, letters and other things Jimmy made. Very special!! I can just stand and look at them forever. there are alot he drew in Highschool, of airplanes and soldiers and poems he wrote on them and stuff. Also other things...

no, this museum is not closed. that was dave's james dean gallery that closed, which is totally different then the Fairmount Historical Museum, which is what I meant. So you can still see all of that stuff! Have you never read any of his poems? I could post like three on here, that I have copies of. Have you read any of them first?

I remember reading just a little one, Kind of comical one, Where he is talking to someone, It goes something like, Looking like a Monkey and smelling like one too.. LoL.. I thought that was cute.. Otherwise I never read any others that he had written.. That would be nice if you could post them for me to read

Okay, here are two that I have on hand. This one is called
"OLD CREEK"
'I took a little drink from an ample stream
I fear thereby result in fertile jest to her source
Her current swift direct and crystal
There is a want to be there and drink long
Nature's plea, ovum, stem and pistil
But there is more to streams
Than the water to gorge on
Plunge your face in a brook
to wash the desire away
A fool to drink
To drink and not to taste.'
And this one is untitled.
' Sight is bent to lick
your heart;
A liquid mouth dilutes
my thoughts.
Souls knit a nebulea mat
We live here in every world
Secret Loft in azure habitat.'
What do you think?
