i went thru the traps in 2nd gear at 4500rpm. car has a 2.29 peg leg rear

Shocked That's awesome!!! I'm doing 5600 in High gear at the stripe and I'm only running 3.91's
Keep a short tire (no more than 26 inch) with the 3.42's and it will be OK. 3.73's or deeper would be best for dual duty but I think the 3.42's are about as deep as you'd want to go if you plan on any highway driving.
ya ive got 25" tires on the 3.42's right now and it no likey the highway. probually going to step up to a 28" tire, speedo is setup for a 27" tire.

also the 25" tires i have are 215/70R14's so can you say no traction?

This was my Run during the 1/4 finals. Lifted just before the finish line and still broke out. The first run sounds better witht he higher revs but it's much nicer on the engine when it doesn't almost float the valves. This is a 6200 RPM shift. The other one was more like 6600 or 6700.

no-one probably wants to hear how my computer died last week so I won't go into everything involved with that.
Good news is I think I have Saturdays pics up. I don't know how to set up a website so I'm learnin as I go.
My first order of business is just to get this years photos up so y'all can view them.
Sundays should be up soon providing anyone can see these.

All of the photos are up now. You do not need to register or sign in.
You can view the photos as a slideshow by pressing the play button above the photo. It seems to work well and I will work on getting to view the thumbnails proper. If no-one else will say it, I will.
