Paranormal Extreme and Ghost Adventures

I watched my first and last episod of Paranormal Extreme this past Friday night. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the hyped up show. Like the Ghost Adventures, there are three men and they are hell bent on getting what they call evidence. It seems that television always has to take things to extremes and these shows are no different. The three men on both shows are looking for evil ghosts, and they provoke from taunting the spirits to actual calling of spirits through some kind of craft. The pentigram is used and circles of safty. They reinact the death of the spirit to get them to react. These seem to be thrill seekers, daredevils, and just plain careless individuals rather than true seekers of knowledge about the afterlife. They use all the scientific devices that the normal scientific ghost hunter would use but it comes across so theatrical and not serious. They do not seem to care about their safety or anybody elses either.
Has anybody else seen these shows and have an opinion about what television is doing to the legitimacy of the true ghost hunters out there? It is so sad, so worrisome!

i find the show to be extreme crap and done just as a joke giving real paranormal investigators a bad name.
